RENTAL PERIOD__________________________________
Thank you for renting your spa from Hot Tubs For Rent. This information sheet will provide you with the information you need to know to make your rental experience enjoyable and trouble free.
NOTES TO RENTERS
We rent only Roto Spa portable spas, which are notable for their reliability and superior performance. Your spa has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilized prior to delivery.
The spa must be placed on level ground within 10' of a properly grounded electrical outlet. You may only use extension cords provided by Hot Tubs For Rent. Renters are liable for damage caused by the use of an improper cord.
Operating spa weighs 3000 pounds.
Your hot tub will hold 300 gallons of water
The spa will heat at a rate of 1- 2EF per hour. Filling the tub with hot water will dramatically shorten the heat up time.
Avoid alcohol or drugs when using the spa.
If you are pregnant, have heart disease, high, blood pressure, or other medical conditions, always consult your physician before using the spa.
Do not use the spa during an electrical storm.
Check the water temperature before using the spa. Use common sense to determine what your body can tolerate. Usual operating temperature is 100 - 104EF.
Re-install the cover after each use to prevent heat loss and ensure safety.
Supervise children at all times around and in the spa.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your spa will be set up at the time of delivery at a pre-arranged location.
Fill the spa with water to a level approximately 2 - 3" above the highest jet. You will be advised regarding adding hot water.
Your Hot Tubs For Rent representative will add the required amount of granular shock and place bromine tablets in the filter basket as filling commences.
When the spa is full, plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.
When you plug the hot tub in, the readout will automatically flash 100 which is the default heat setting. After a few seconds it will show the current water temperature. Press the ‘warm’ button if you want to raise the temperature or the ‘cool’ button to lower it. After several seconds the display will once again revert to the actual water temperature. The normal operating temperature range is 100-104EF.
If you get an OH reading on the display the water temperature is higher than 105 degrees and the pump will not operate. In this instance wait for the water temperature to go below 105E and the pump will re-start.
To change the filter cycle setting press the warm or cool button and then the jet button. The cycle can be set to F1, F2 or F3. Your Hot Tubs For Rent representative will explain the purpose of the filter cycle to you.
Your hot tub will heat at a rate of 1- 2 degrees per hour. The heat up time will be largely determined by the amount of hot water used when filling and the prevailing weather conditions.
YOU ARE NOW READY TO USE YOUR SPA
You will likely have to add bromine tablets to the hot tub after several days. When the original tablets are almost gone place 3 more in the basket. You will be provided with a supply of tablets.
Avoid the use of perfumes, sun tan lotions, body oils or hair products in the spa, as these will affect the water quality. DO NOT add foaming products to the water.
The jets must be turned off when the spa is not in use or it will not heat.
Your spa has a GFCI plug on the end of the power cord. This is a safety measure, which causes the spa to shut off it there is a ground fault. You may have to push the "reset" button on the end of the power cord in the unlikely event that the spa will not run.
REMEMBER TO HAVE FUN!!
